The film, which is a sports-drama, is being directed by Akarsh Khurana and also stars Priyanshu Painyuli. Taapsee will be seen playing the role of an athlete in the film while Priyanshu will play the role of her husband. Rashmi Rocket is written by Nanda Periyasamy, Aniruddha Guha and Kanika Dhillon. The film is slated to release next year.
