Shahid Kapoor and Vijay Sethupathi starrer ‘Farzi 2’ to go on floors after ‘The Family Man 3’: Report

Shahid Kapoor has made a remarkable debut on OTT with Raj Nidimoru and Krishna DK’s latest offering ‘Farzi’. It has just been a week since ‘The Artist’ arrived on OTT and fans have been raving about Shahid’s intense avatar. And thanks to the huge success to ‘Farzi’, the makers have started work on the sequel promptly. Directors Raj and DK will reportedly begin shooting for the second season after wrapping their prior commitments, which includes the Indian version of ‘Citadel’ and ‘The Family Man season 3’. The makers have locked the idea of the second season and will start work on the script soon after completing the other two shows, reports pinkvilla. Shahid Kapoor starrer ‘Farzi’ ended on a cryptic note, promising an action packed second season. ‘Farzi’ was set against the backdrop of counterfeit notes, with Shahid Kapoor creating perfectly replicas of the Indian currency. On the other side of the law is Vijay, a determined task force officer whose goal is to eliminate fake notes from the country.

Raj and DK’s Indian version of ‘Citadel’ features Varun Dhawan and Samantha Ruth Prabhu in lead roles. While long awaited ‘The Family Man 3’ promises to feature Manoj Bajpayee in the middle of a virus crisis.
