Kristen Stewart is showing her true range in the intense trailer for ‘Camp X-Ray,’ the Guantanamo Bay drama that has the actress playing an Army soldier forming a surprising friendship with one of the prisoners. Stewart has always had infused her characters with a dark intensity, but none more so than her character in ‘X-Ray,’ who is slowly learning that things aren’t always so black and white as her friendship with the detainee — a man supposed to be the enemy — grows and grows. The dramatic trailer, which also features critics’ praise for the performances, is absolutely riveting and will only pique your interest to see the film — and to see the former ‘Twilight’ star in an entirely new light.
