Pixar’s next big movie, Coco, takes place in the Land of the Dead and the newest trailer for the movie shows off just how mesmerizing the animated afterlife is.

Whereas previous trailers gave us hints about what to expect from the story — a young boy named Miguel wants to be a musician but playing music is an act that has been banned by his family — this trailer is all about what audiences can expect when Miguel passes through to the other side.

Based on the trailer, most of the movie will take place with Miguel trying to escape from the Land of the Dead while also getting to know his past relatives who have been watching over him. Like many of Pixar’s movies, the attention to detail that the artists and animators have given to the Land of the Dead is impressive, and creates a stunning visual. The slightly gothic, but upbeat aesthetic Coco is going is one of the more unique stylings the studio has taken on in recent years and is a refreshing change.

Coco will be released on Nov. 22.
