When Is Avatar 2 Releasing In Cinemas?

Avatar broke all box office records when it released in 2009, a decade ago. While Avengers: Endgame did break those records, fans are eager for the release of Avatar 2, which has already been delayed several times. Here’s all that we know about the sequel to the visual spectacle that was Avatar.
As we already know, there are four sequels arriving and expected to run until 2027. In an interview with Deadline James Cameron said, “Avengers: Endgame is demonstrable proof that people will still go to movie theatres. The thing that scared me most about making Avatar 2 and Avatar 3 was that the market might have shifted so much that it simply was no longer possible to get people that excited about going and sitting in a dark room with a bunch of strangers to watch something.”
After several delays, the final date confirmed is Dec 17, 2021. Avatar’s official twitter handle tweeted the news, “now scheduled to land on Pandora December 17, 2021”. Though the film was originally supposed to release in Dec 2020, it obviously won’t happen. The other sequels, if no delays occur, will follow every other year until 2027.
