While Peter Parker has been busy handling Parker Industries as CEO and protecting himself at the same time, his old foe the Jackal is back and has some plans to bring him down without him knowing. The Jackal has been seeking the help of Spiderman’s old enemies and offers to revive their dead loved ones. The only catch to this is that those that are to be revived need a daily pill given by the Jackal to remain alive, forcing these villains into indefinite slavery to the Jackal.
One of those villains is one of the most familiar Spiderman bad guys: Max Dillon, also known as Electro. Electro had already been relieved of his powers and had been living as a normal human being in his cell. The Jackal thought he could use Electro’s help, so he pursued him with an offer to revive Francine, Max’s ex lover who he killed with a kiss, reports Comicbook.

Way back, Max killed Francine unintentionally. The two were in a relationship when Max was still struggling with his newly discovered electric powers. Sadly, when the two shared a kiss, Max was unable to control his current and unintentionally electrocuted his lover, thus killing her in an instant.

The Jackal cloned Francine from some DNA taken from her cheek, then proceeds to restore Max’s powers. As Max and Francine shared a kiss, the DNA from his saliva that was mixed with those of Francine attracted the electrical energy to her. Francine then gives Max another kiss and turns the tables, this time killing Max.

While all that was happening, they were being observed by the Prowler, Hobbie Brown, who was hired by Parker to infiltrate Jackal’s new base headquarters and unveil the company’s secrets. Prowler was also tasked to confuse people about Spiderman by playing a body double, but he himself does not know that Parker is Spiderman. While finding such documents, he had an unexpected encounter with Jackal and his buddies, and ended up getting electrocuted by the new electro, Francine, says a report in IGN.

Prowler, however, was resurrected immediately but since his life now depends on the daily pill that only the Jackal can administer, he is now in indefinite servitude towards this old Spiderman villain.
