Everyone thought that Deepika, who was earlier offered a role in Mr Diesel’s Fast & Furious franchise, may be finally collaborating with the actor. Although Deepika had not confirmed the news officially, but in December, she told NDTV: “What do I say, as far as the film is concerned, only time will tell.” However, xXx: The Return of Xander Cage director DJ Caruso confirmed the news in a tweet during a chat session with his fans. When NDTV had asked Deepika about Vin Diesel, she said: “He’s a friend and someone I’m extremely fond of. More than anything else he is an amazing person.
