Dilwale box office collection: The Shah Rukh Khan and Kajol entertainer earns Rs. 84.60 cr in 5 days!

Shah Rukh Khan‘s Dilwale was one of the most anticipated films of 2015. A lot was riding on the film since like always only Khans can bail out this industry from mounting losses. Salman Khan created box office records by the minute with his two films this year Bajrangi Bhaijaan and Prem Ratan Dhan Payo and it was expected that SRK will close the year with a bang. The film started off well with 21 cr, although it fell short of the predicted opening numbers of 26-27 cr due to bans and clash with Bajirao Mastani. The opening weekend also brought in good money but Monday saw a downslide and it is persistent now. After 10.09 cr on Monday, the film dropped to 9.42 cr on Tuesday, taking the toll to 84.60 cr!

Trade Analyst, Taran Adarsh revealed the figures on his Twitter handle, “#Dilwale Fri 21 cr, Sat 20.09 cr, Sun 24 cr, Mon 10.09 cr, Tue 9.42 cr. Total: ₹ 84.60 cr. India biz. STEADY!” The film definitely is going steady and might even touch the 100 crore soon with the way it is going. Despite getting less number of screens and damaging protests, the film has done pretty good for itself. But we also feel that the mixed reviews about the film ruined a bit of its chances to earn big at the box office. But then when it’s SRK and Kajol, reviews are the last thing people take the help of.
