Udta Teer Delivers Laughs But Loses Direction

Udta Teer stars Ayushmann Khurrana and Sara Ali Khan in a spy comedy built around mistaken identity and unexpected patriotism. A Pakistani undercover agent infiltrating India’s counter-terrorism squad suffers memory loss and begins believing he is an Indian patriot, creating hilarious complications for both countries. Ayushmann impresses with his comic timing, while Rahul Bose and the supporting cast add entertaining moments. However, the film struggles to maintain its momentum as the story shifts between comedy, espionage and patriotic drama. Despite its fresh premise and occasional laughs, uneven writing prevents Udta Teer from becoming a consistently satisfying theatrical experience.
