Forthcoming release, ‘Roy’ starring Ranbir Kapoor, Arjun Rampal and Jacqueline Fernandez created immense hype since its announcement. The trailer of the film crossed 3 million within 3 days of its release and has garnered approximately 6 million views by today.

But, the makers have reason to celebrate long before its release as the film’s music is scoring quite high. Launched on January 11, Roy’s music is topping the music charts across channels, radio and digital platforms.

The first song from the film, ‘Sooraj Dooba Hai’ definitely struck a chord with listeners. The groovy tune is the party anthem of the season. Making its place in the top 5 is also, ‘Tu Hai Ki Nahi’, sung and composed by Ankit Tiwari featuring Ranbir Kapoor. The next song that is gripping the audience is Jacqueline Fernandez’s dance number Chittiyaan Kalaiyaan composed by Meet Bros Anjjan and sung by ‘Babydoll’ Kanika Kapoor.

T-Series recently released the film’s last two songs – ‘Boond Boond’ and ‘Yaara Re’ by Ankit Twiari. While ‘Boond Boond’ is a soft sensuous romantic number featuring Arjun and Jacqueline romancing, ‘Yaara’ is a song that talks about heartbreak and longing. “We were bullish about the music from day one because we knew we had a good album in hand. I’m happy that our conviction has paid off,” says producer Bhushan Kumar.
