BFI Unveils Tom Cruise Film Season

The British Film Institute (BFI) has unveiled its program for a Tom Cruise film season, following the actor’s receipt of its prestigious BFI Fellowship award. The event will take place at BFI Southbank and BFI Imax in London throughout May. On May 21, Cruise will attend a special in-conversation event at the Southbank venue to discuss his career. The 62-year-old actor, famous for playing Ethan Hunt in the Mission Impossible series, will also introduce a screening of one of the franchise’s films at BFI Imax. A public vote is currently open on the BFI website to choose the film, closing Sunday night.
