Kriti Sanon proves that the cinched corset and draped skirt combination is here to stay

Kriti Sanon’s style consistently straddles the extremes of minimal monotone and abstract print. The actor, whose Instagram is mostly a sprawling canvas of her professional escapades, provides ample sartorial inspiration for all the tall girls. Her latest outing consisted of a Surya Sarkar under-bust black silk corset that accentuated her long torso, with chevron-like quilted detailing, easing up on constricting boning, while ensuring the waist is impeccably cinched. The draped skirt, a flattering signature for all things elegant, was a natural complement. The barely-there black lace peeking out of the sweetheart neckline gave the ensemble a gothcore feel. While Sanon’s stylist Sukriti Grover, captioned the array of photos ‘alpha energy’, it might remind one of a contemporary rendition of the Black Swan, with Tchaikovsky playing in the background. Sticking to minimal accessories, Kriti Sanon opted for dual silver and diamond ear studs from Rejuvenate Jewels and a bare neck.
