Shraddha Kapoor and Rajkumar Rao’s Stree 2 Takes The Biggest Opening Of The Year! Stree 2 has arrived, and how! The buzz for this horror comedy was already high right from the beginning, and the results are overwhelming. Stree 2 has smashed the opening of the records for Bollywood movies in 2024, including Kalki 2898 AD’s numbers in Hindi dubbed language.

In June’s last week, Kalki 2898 AD surpassed the opening day figures of Hrithik Roshan’s Fighter and scored the biggest opening for any movie in Hindi markets. Now, Stree 2 has surpassed those figures by a margin. Amar Kaushik’s horror comedy was boosted by the national holiday and even faced capacity issues at several centres. The 3-way clash was only there for a name, and Stree 2 remained unaffected except for a loss of screens.

The Sharadha Kapoor and Rajkummar Rao starrer has taken a huge opening in the range of 40–42 crore nett, as per early estimates. The film can go a little higher if the late-night shows can add 1-2 crore more to its Kitty. This is the biggest opening for any Bollywood or Hindi movie in 2024, beating the previous record of 21.28 crore nett by Kalki 2898 AD.
