The film will be available in the United States from 13th December, Taylor’s birthday. One of the biggest concert movies of the year, if not ever, is Taylor Swift’s Taylor Swift – The Eras Tour, a three hour opus that was released in cinemas earlier this year. Well, news reaches us today that a special extended edition is going to be available for the home market this December. The new edition will include three songs from the tour not shown in cinemas: “Long Live,” “The Archer” and “Wildest Dreams.”

I am going to add that this is for US viewers only at present with other countries set to be announced soon. The film will debut on Swift’s birthday, 13th December, for rental on all of the usual platforms in the States. Swift herself announced the news in a social post on Monday: “Hi! Well, so, basically I have a birthday coming up and I was thinking a fun way to celebrate the year we’ve had together would be to make The Eras Tour Concert Film available for you to watch at home! Very happy to be able to tell you that the extended version of the film including “Wildest Dreams,” “The Archer” and “Long Live” will be available to rent on demand in the US, Canada & additional countries to be announced soon starting on … you guessed it, December 13.”
