The nine days total of the film is below the mark considering its production cost. The film even failed to recover the budget amount of ₹75 crore from domestic run. “Action Jackson” had second weekend to rake in moolah from the box office, but the collection was hampered by negative reviews and all-around buzz. The film underperformed at both single screens as well multiplexes during its second weekend. In the south region, the collection was affected in the second week due to the release of Rajinikanth’s movie “Lingaa”. At the overseas box offices, the film met with the same fate. The earnings would descend further in its third week as Aamir Khan’s “PK” is set to hit the screens this Friday.
