In his own words, “it’s a tribute to the golden era of Bollywood.” The story is set against the backdrop of the 1947 Bombay. While it takes you to the music, costumes and movies of those times, the series will take the viewers through the dark side behind all the glamour. We are introduced to Aparshakti Khurana’s character who is called Binod. He is a trusted aide of a film studio. The owner of the film’s studio (Prosenjit ) sends him behind superstar Madan Kumar (Nandish Sandhu), because he’s having an affair with his wife, Savitri Kumari. After Kumar dies in an accident, Binod takes his place and becomes the next superstar. The series will also showcase the struggles of new actors to make a mark.
