Kendall Jenner Goes Topless in New Marc Jacobs Ads

Kendall Jenner is taking a break from pantsless looks to go topless for Marc Jacobs. On February 10, the 27-year-old model shared a series of photos from the designer’s spring 2023 campaign, also starring Irina Shayk. In one photo from the marketing campaign, Jenner leans back in a corset-inspired black bra, matching panties, and a pair of dangerously high platform pumps. In the second, she crouches in a pair of black stockings and the same boots with the corset removed. In both photos Jenner wears minimalistic makeup and her hair swept behind her ears. The looks are accessorized with a Y2K-inspired ID chain necklace and chunky silver hoops. In one image from the campaign, Shayk strikes a nearly identical pose in a white version of the platform boots while draping a white shoulder bag across her leg.

Coincidentally, the first high-fashion runway show Kendall Jenner booked was for Marc Jacobs in 2014, when she was just 18 years old. Nearly a decade later, Jenner reflected on the sheer brown top and bleached-brow look. “I actually could not believe I was there,” she said in Vogue’s “Life in Looks” video in September 2022. “I was pretty chill, even though my boobies were out.” Jenner says she approved the see-through top before seeing it in person. “I remember getting a call from my agent saying that Marc and Katie [Grand] wanted to put me in this kind of sheer top, and I was like, ‘I’m game. I don’t mind. I’m all good with the nipple,’” she said. “It didn’t make me any more nervous. I genuinely was just like, ‘Dope, whatever they want, it’s their vision, let’s do it.’ So I was completely comfortable.”
