Dhokha Round D Corner Movie Review: R Madhavan, Aparshakti Khurana film is a dhokha. Selling scripts like these as top-notch thrillers starring superstars is the biggest dhokha with the audience! If suspense thrillers are your thing, you can skip watching it. Here’s our review. A delirious housewife is taken hostage by a terrorist with a death penalty, a husband is accused of cheating, and a police officer, who is supposed to catch the criminal, but shows no interest – this plot looks great on paper. However, it failed miserably at the execution level in Kookie Gulati’s latest suspense thriller Dhokha: Round D Corner. The actors manage to ratchet up the tension in this suspense-filled plot. However, the predictability of the plot renders their performances ineffective. Among many flaws that the film has, the greatest problem is its lack of logic. A terrorist on a death sentence falls in love with his hostage in a matter of hours, a police officer who has zero knowledge about controlling such a situation is put in charge, the snipers who stand there with guns but fire not a single bullet even when they get multiple chances – the list is endless. It gets irritating at a point to see Madhavan and Darshan continuously chit chatting and smoking, as if a wanted criminalis not on the loose. We expected action and drama, but we get a daily-soap approach.
