Of course, she picked a Sabyasachi creation to make the heads turn. The actress opted for a Bengal Tiger couture sari that is a part of the iconic Aakash Tara collection that celebrates heritage Indian crafts and techniques through a modern lens. Her ethnic drape featured block-printed and hand-embroidered stripes covered with black and golden sequins beautifully in an alternative manner. Deepika teamed it with a strapless sequined blouse that showed a sweetheart neckline. The beauty queen adorned herself with statement pieces from Sabyasachi Jewellery’s Bengal Royale Collection. The headband pays homage to the traditional Indian matha patti headpiece with Art Nouveau detailing. Can’t miss the chandelier earrings though. Deepika pulled her hair back and went for dramatic makeup. She wore heavy eye makeup and applied a dab of nude shade on her lips.
