‘Shamshera’ makers unveil Ranbir Kapoor’s new look on his birthday: A legend will rise

Ranbir Kapoor is celebrating his birthday today and his fans have flooded social media with wonderful wishes. On his special day, the makers of ‘Shamshera’ unveiled the first look of Ranbir from the film. Directed by Karan Malhotra, the film is set to release worldwide on March 18, 2022. The film will present Ranbir in a never seen before avatar. In the picture, Ranbir can be seen sporting a mark on his forehead. It has surely left his fans mighty impressed and super intrigued about his look. The poster has a tag line that reads, “A legend will rise”.

Ranbir has been paired opposite Vaani Kapoor in this action spectacle. ‘Shamshera’ will also have Sanjay Dutt playing the merciless nemesis to Ranbir. Earlier, speaking about her character in the film, Vaani told PTI that the plot of “’Shamshera’ reminded her of Sanjay Dutt and Madhuri Dixit-Nene’s 1993 blockbuster movie ‘Khalnayak’. She had said, “We have grown up watching films like ‘Khalanayak’ and a few others. It (‘Shamshera’) gave me a sense of that. It is a cool film and it is so different. I love Karan Malhotra’s ‘Agneepath’. He knows how much to push each emotion. To be part of a film which is like that and coming from a filmmaker like Karan was icing on the cake.”

Meanwhile, Ranbir is currently in Jodhpur with his girlfriend Alia Bhatt. It is being speculated that the duo is scouting wedding venues there.
