Harshvarrdhan Kapoor’s palm printed bomber jacket is a must-have

Born in the ‘50s, the bomber jacket (MA-1) was originally designed for pilots in the US during World War II. Think compact silhouette, a front zipper, side pockets and roomy sleeves that were meant to keep the pilots warm while flying at high altitudes. Since then, the popularity of bombers has only soared higher. Because here’s the deal: A bomber jacket is one of those things that always looks cool. No matter what. Kanye West knew this when he bought 100s of MA-1s from cult label Alpha Industries back in 2013 during his Yeezus tour. Of course Kanye being Kanye applied his own logos and patches to the jackets — elevating it’s swag quotient even further. On the big screen, you must have seen the likes of Marlon Brando (A Streetcar Named Desire), Tom Cruise (Top Gun) and Ryan Gosling (Drive) sporting these badass jackets.
