Daawat-e-Ishq trailer: Aditya Roy Kapur steals the thunder from Parineeti Chopra

The much-awaited trailer of YRF’s upcoming film starring Parineeti and Aditya is out and wethinks its the latter who stands out in the video
Parineeti Chopra and Aditya Roy Kapur’s first film together Daawat-e-Ishq is directed by Habib Faisal and produced by Aditya Chopra. Not too long ago, the first look of the film was unveiled and we found it quite interesting and vibrant. And now the makers have released the first trailer but is it entertaining? Well, it is but at the same time a lil confusing. In the trailer, you get to see Ms Chopra who is looking for a groom but fails to find one as she ends up meeting dowry-seeking men. Anupam Kher plays Parineeti’s father in the film and we totally loved his look. As for Pari, she is her usual self – chirpy, loud and very desi. Then there is Aditya too who is playing a Lucknowi chef in the film and going by the trailer wethinks the talented lad has nailed his role perfectly. His look, dialogue delivery and expressions are to watch out for. Surprisingly, the B-town hunk is so good that he overshadows his co-star Parineeti. Watch the trailer and you’ll agree with us. Coming to the story, Adi and Pari do fall in love and sing around trees but there is a twist in the kahaani. What is it? We won’t tell you, watch the video to know.

Though Daawat-e-Ishq looks promising, the trailer did remind us of Parineeti’s film Shuddhi Desi Romance. Whether that’s good or bad we dunno but for now Bollywoodlifers you check out the video and tell us what you think!
