Box Office: ‘Frozen 2’ Eyes ‘Toy Story’ Franchise With $1.1 Billion

Frozen 2 hasn’t even been in theaters for one month and the results are astounding: nearly $368 million in domestic gross. That’s good enough to rank sixth amongst all movies released in 2019.But the real kicker is the Disney film’s worldwide revenue. Coming in just under $1.04 billion ahead of its fifth weekend in theaters, Frozen 2 isn’t just the 37th-highest-grossing film of all time, but it now ranks No. 7 amongst all animated movies.
