His Pati Patni Aur Woh released on Friday and the film has got a dhamakedaar opening. The movie earned Rs. 9.10 crore on day one of its opening day. The rom-com has thus become Kartik’s highest opener till date. This title was earlier held by his 2019 release Luka Chuppi, which had earned Rs. 8.01 crore. The film performed well despite getting tough competition from Panipat and biz is expected to soar over the weekend. The film is a remake of BR Chopra’s 1978 release Pati Patni Aur Woh and has been directed by Mudassar Aziz.
