Lady Gaga is getting back into the music video game with her latest video “G.U.Y.” from her most recent album ARTPOP. Check out the music video for “G.U.Y.,” which debuted on NBC’s Dateline. The video, which is all about bending gender stereotypes and sexuality in general, features some of the Real Housewives of Beverly Hills from Bravo. It has been seven months since Gaga’s first video from ARTPOP was released. The “Applause” music video was released in August of 2013.

The second single from ARTPOP has been through quite a few changes. The original first and then second single from ARTPOP was meant to be “Venus.” The debut single was changed by Lady Gaga’s record label to “Applause.” Then following the early release and subsequent positive response by fans to “Do What U Want,” Lady Gaga announced that it would be the second single, pushing the Gaga-produced track “Venus” back again.

There were reports that a video was filmed for “Do What U Want” with R. Kelly last fall, but no footage or photos were ever released. During The Voice finale, Lady Gaga surprised everyone by doing a duet to the song with judge Christina Aguilera. Shortly thereafter a studio version of the song was released on iTunes. “Do What U Want” hit radio with moderate success, but no music video was ever released.

Things had been quiet about what Gaga’s next ARTPOP move would be until recently when it was being reported she was filming a new music video at a castle in California. This week Lady Gaga appeared on various news outlets announcing that “G.U.Y.” would be the official second single, with the video debuting today on Dateline.

The music video release comes at a great time, as Lady Gaga is about to embark on ArtRave: The ARTPOP Ball Tour.
