The peppy number is a remake of Kishore Kumar’s Paisa Yeh Paisa from Rishi Kapoor’s 1980 release Karz and while the original is a cult favourite, the remixed version looks crass and lacks originality in terms of even set designs and costumes. We have seen several songs in the past one decade, which have been shot in a similar setup and while the video is blingy it fails to shine, even with the presence of some on industry’s biggest actors. The song, which has been crooned by Dev Negi, Subhro Ganguly and Arpita Chakraborty, features the film’s lead cast Ajay Devgn, Madhuri Dixit, Anil Kapoor, Riteish Deshmukh, Arshad Warsi, Javed Jaffrey and Johnny Lever and the only saving grace of the dance number is Madhuri’s adayein. @ajaydevgn Tweets by ajaydevgn
