Is Katrina Kaif's Babita character from Zero inspired from her real-life break up with Ranbir Kapoor? The actress answers

The much-awaited Bollywood big-ticket film Zero featuring Shah Rukh Khan released last Friday but unfortunately failed to impress the audience. Though the moviegoers loved the performance of Katrina Kaif and called her best act till date. But there were a certain section of the audience, who claimed that her character Babita is inspired from her breakup with Ranbir Kapoor. Though Katrina completely denied the news and said there is no connection between the two characters.

In a recent interview with Film Companion, when asked Babita’s character is inspired from her breakup with Ranbir, she replied, “I knew that people are gonna try and connect the dots but I also knew that when they see the film they can’t do that because the pitch of that character is so different. The pitch of that character is not me…That’s not me. That’s not my behaviour. To me the way she’s (Babita) talking (in the film), to me it is outlandish as a person that I am.”
