Shama Sikander shares her #MeToo story: When I was 14 a director put his hand on my thigh

In the wake of the #MeToo movement, TV actress Shama Sikander recently shared her #MeToo story. The actress recalled an incident when she was subjected to sexual misconduct at the age of 14. In an interview, Shama said that the director, while trying to put his hand on her thigh, told Shama, ‘that to be a star in the industry, she will be subjected to the exploitation.’ She further alleged that the director also told Shama that, ‘if not a director, an actor or producer might exploit her. She cannot grow without that.’ Shama also added that she was a 14-year-old who came with big aspirations and dreams.
