Rihanna Wears a Canadian Tuxedo With a Knee-Length Crotch

Street style icon Rihanna was photographed en route to a meeting in New York City yesterday, wearing a high-fashion oversized Canadian tuxedo. The crotch on it appears to go down to her knees: The look seemingly comes from designer Matthew Adams Dolan, a Parsons MFA Fashion Design and Society alum (RiRi just attended the school’s benefit the night before). Rihanna, who called Dolan her “boo” at the benefit, told ELLE.com that she purposefully tries to wear clothes from experimental young talent. “I look for originality,” she said. “I look for a creative, clever perspective. I love that. I love just seeing the mind of someone reflected onto a piece of clothing. It says a lot about what’s going on in their minds.”
