The 2020 E! People’s Choice Awards nominations have been announced, with Bad Boys for Life and This Is Us among the film and TV projects earning the most nominations.
Bad Boys for Life is up for movie and action movie of 2020 as well as male, female and action movie stars of the year.
In the movie of 2020 category, Bad Boys for Life faces off against five-time nominees Birds of Prey and the filmed version of Hamilton on Broadway as well as four-time nominees Extraction, Project Power, The Invisible Man and The Old Guard and double nominee Trolls World Tour.
Other movies nominated for multiple awards include four-time nominee Like a Boss and three-time nominees Greyhound, To All the Boys: P.S. I Still Love You, The Lovebirds and Bloodshot.
This Is Us tops the TV nominees with six nods, followed by five-time nominees Grey’s Anatomy and Outer Banks; four-time nominees The Bachelor, The Masked Singer, Riverdale, Schitt’s Creek and The Walking Dead; and three-time nominees Never Have I Ever, Dead to Me, Law & Order: SVU, Modern Family, The Good Place, Ozark and RuPaul’s Drag Race. E!’s own Keeping Up With the Kardashians and its stars racked up five nominations across various categories as did the Real Housewives franchise. This Is Us, Grey’s, Never Have I Ever, Outer Banks, The Bachelor and The Masked Singer are all up for the top TV prize of The Show of 2020, as are The Last Dance and Tiger King, which only earned one other nomination, for bingeworthy show of 2020.
Despite reports this summer about a “toxic work culture” and alleged sexual harassment and misconduct on set and a subsequent investigation by WarnerMedia, The Ellen DeGeneres Show earned a best daytime talk show nomination. DeGeneres has won favorite daytime TV host 10 times, most recently in 2017. Fans can vote for their favorites from today until Friday, Oct. 23 at 11:59 p.m. ET across 44 categories spanning movies, TV, music and pop culture.
The 2020 People’s Choice Awards will air live on E! from Santa Monica’s Barker Hangar on Sunday Nov. 15 at 9 p.m. ET.
