\nA picture of Deepika Padukone and Hollywood actor Vin Diesel sent fans in a tizzy soon after the actress shared it on social media in December. Everyone thought that Deepika, who was earlier offered a role in Mr Diesel’s Fast & Furious franchise, may be finally collaborating with the actor.<\/p>\n

Although Deepika had not confirmed the news officially, but in December, she told NDTV: “What do I say, as far as the film is concerned, only time will tell.”<\/p>\n

However, xXx: The Return of Xander Cage director DJ Caruso confirmed the news in a tweet during a chat session with his fans.<\/p>\n

When NDTV had asked Deepika about Vin Diesel, she said: “He’s a friend and someone I’m extremely fond of. More than anything else he is an amazing person. But about everything else, which everyone wants to know, you’ll know soon.”<\/p>\n

Deepika, who turned 30 on January 5, has featured in Piku, Tamasha and Bajirao Mastani in 2015.<\/p>\n
