Prime Video has released a high-octane trailer for its spy series \u201cCitadel: Diana,\u201d starring Italy\u2019s Matilda De Angelis (\u201cThe Undoing\u201d) as Diana Cavalieri, an undercover Citadel agent fighting against an enemy syndicate set in a near-future Milan. The six-episode show \u2013 which marks the streamer\u2019s most ambitious Italian original to date \u2013 is the country\u2019s installment of Prime Video\u2019s high-concept \u201cCitadel\u201d franchise that debuted in April 2023. The series is meant to serve as a launch pad for multiple shows set in different countries that are all connected via plot and characters. De Angelis, a rising Italian star, made her international breakthrough in Susanne Bier\u2019s \u201cThe Undoing,\u201d alongside Nicole Kidman and Hugh Grant. She also appeared with Liev Schrieber in the Ernest Hemingway adaptation \u201cAcross the River and Into the Trees,\u201d directed by Paula Ortiz.\n<\/div>\n
