\nUniversal Pictures has revealed a brand new trailer for DreamWorks Animation\u2019s upcoming crime comedy film The Bad Guys, featuring the voices of Sam Rockwell, Craig Robinson, Awkwafina, and more. It is scheduled to hit the theaters this April 22. The Bad Guys trailer, which you can check out below, features a five-member criminal crew as they have been given an opportunity to stay out of prison after their latest heist goes wrong. In order to save themselves, they must fool everyone about their intentions of becoming good guys.<\/p>\n

Based on Aaron Blabey\u2019s best-selling children\u2019s book series, The Bad Guys will feature a star-studded voice line-up including Sam Rockwell as Mr. Wolf, Marc Maron as Mr. Snake, Craig Robinson as Mr. Shark, Anthony Ramos as Mr. Piranha, and Awkwafina as Ms. Tarantula. Joining them are Richard Ayoade, Zazie Beetz, Lilly Singh, and Alex Borstein. \u201cIn the new action comedy from DreamWorks Animation, a crackerjack criminal crew of animal outlaws are about to attempt their most challenging con yet\u2014becoming model citizens,\u201d reads the synopsis. \u201cNever have there been five friends as infamous as The Bad Guys\u2014dashing pickpocket Mr. Wolf, seen-it-all safecracker Mr. Snake, chill master-of-disguise Mr. Shark, short-fused \u201cmuscle\u201d Mr. Piranha, and sharp-tongued expert hacker Ms. Tarantula aka \u201cWebs.\u201d But when, after years of countless heists and being the world\u2019s most-wanted villains, the gang is finally caught, Mr. Wolf brokers a deal (that he has no intention of keeping) to save them all from prison: The Bad Guys will go good.<\/p>\n

\u201cUnder the tutelage of their mentor Professor Marmalade, an arrogant (but adorable!) guinea pig, The Bad Guys set out to fool the world that they\u2019ve been transformed. Along the way, though, Mr. Wolf begins to suspect that doing good for real may give him what he\u2019s always secretly longed for: acceptance. So when a new villain threatens the city, can Mr. Wolf persuade the rest of the gang to become \u2026 The Good Guys?\u201d<\/p>\n

The Bad Guys is directed by Kung Fu Panda\u2018s Pierre Perifel in his directorial debut. Executive producers are Babley, Etan Cohen, and Patrick Hughes, with Damon Ross, and Rebecca Huntley producing.\n<\/p><\/div>\n
