\nPeople has announced their 2021 Sexiest Man Alive \u2013 and it\u2019s Paul Rudd! The 52-year-old actor was announced as this year\u2019s title holder during The Late Show with Stephen Colbert on Tuesday (November 9). In his cover story interview with People, Paul revealed that the only person he told about being named the Sexiest Man Alive was his wife, Julie Yaeger.<\/p>\n

\u201cShe was stupefied. But you know she was very sweet about it,\u201d Paul said. \u201cAfter some giggling and shock, she said \u2018Oh, they got it right.\u2019 And that was very sweet. She was probably not telling the truth, but what\u2019s she going to say?\u201d<\/p>\n

Now that he\u2019s the newest Sexiest Man Alive, Paul anticipates that his life is going to change \u201ca lot.\u201d<\/p>\n

\u201cI\u2019m hoping now that I\u2019ll finally be invited to some of those sexy dinners with [George] Clooney and [Brad] Pitt and [Michael] B Jordan,\u201d Paul joked. \u201cAnd I figure I\u2019ll be on a lot more yachts. I\u2019m excited to expand my yachting life. And I\u2019ll probably try to get better at brooding in really soft light. I like to ponder. I think this is going to help me become more inward and mysterious. And I\u2019m looking forward to that.\u201d<\/p>\n

Before the big announcement was made, many fans believed that Paul\u2018s Marvel co-star would actually be this year\u2019s Sexiest Man Alive.<\/p>\n
