\"\"The Mockingjay lives. On Monday, fans eager for more Katniss Everdeen got a sneak peek of the heroine in action in the first official trailer for \u201cThe Hunger Games: Mockingjay \u2014 Part I.\u201d<\/p>\n

In the trailer, the \u201cHunger Games\u201d heroine, played by Jennifer Lawrence, is seen fanning the flames of a rebellion while on a quest to save her Games partner, Peeta (Josh Hutcherson). And since this is Katniss, she does it all while toting a bow and arrow and teaming up with childhood friend Gale (Liam Hemsworth).<\/p>\n

\u201cI never wanted any of this,\u201d Katniss tells her enemy President Snow in the nearly two-minute clip. \u201cI never wanted to be in the Games. I just wanted to save my sister and keep Peeta alive.\u201d<\/p>\n

\u201cMs. Everdeen, it\u2019s the things we love most that destroy us,\u201d Snow, played by Donald Sutherland, ominously replies.<\/p>\n

The star-studded cast of \u201cMockingjay\u201d also includes Woody Harrelson, Elizabeth Banks, Julianne Moore, Sam Claflin and the late Philip Seymour Hoffman as Plutarch Heavensbee, the leader behind the dark rebellion against the privileged Capitol.<\/p>\n

\u201cMockingjay \u2014 Part 1\u2033 is the second to last \u201cHunger Games\u201d movie based on the popular young adult books by Suzanne Collins.<\/p>\n

The new trailer started trending on Twitter on Monday, with fans sharing their excitement about the movie\u2019s November 21 debut.<\/p>\n

\u201cI should calm myself down first bc the tears in my eyes are not allowing me to watch clearly the trailer,\u201d tweeted one fan, while another asked, \u201cIs it November yet?\u201d<\/p>\n

Let the countdown to \u201cMockingjay \u2014 Part I\u201d begin.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n
