The movie comes from writer-director Joe Penna, who proved his thriller bonafides with his Mads Mikkelsen-starring wilderness movie \u201cArctic.\u201d \u201cStowaway\u201d stars the four-person ensemble as astronauts aboard a spaceship to Mars. The one problem is that there\u2019s only enough oxygen on the ship for three people.<\/p>\n<p>Netflix\u2019s official synopsis for \u201cStowaway\u201d reads: \u201cOn a mission headed to Mars, an unintended stowaway accidentally causes severe damage to the spaceship\u2019s life support systems. Facing dwindling resources and a potentially fatal outcome, the crew is forced to make an impossible decision.\u201d Kendrick\u2019s character is a medical researcher on the spaceship headed to Mars. Collette stars as the ship\u2019s commander, while Kim plays a biologist. Anderson, best known for roles in \u201cLove Jacked\u201d and \u201cWynonna Earp,\u201d is the eponymous stowaway.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cStowaway\u201d launches globally April 22 on Netflix.
