\nThere\u2019s not even a trailer out for Free Guy, starring Ryan Reynolds, but the promo alone is enough proof that the Deadpool actor has another hit on his hands.
\nFew things get fans revved up about a movie more than a trailer. The rising music, the heroic speeches and the brief character cameos are all it takes for fans to go from zero to 100. That is\u2026 unless it\u2019s a movie starring Deadpool\u2019s Ryan Reynolds. Then, all you\u2019d have to do is mention that it\u2019s a Ryan Reynolds movie and fans are sold.
\nLuckily, the always-busy actor already has another film rolling out next summer, Free Guy, and a promo for the movie hit the web following 20th Century Fox\u2019s panel at New York Comic Con today.
\nThe promo video features Reynolds along with the all-star cast of the movie: Joe Keery (Stranger Things), Jodie Comer (Killing Eve) and Taika Waititi (Thor: Ragnarok). But here\u2019s the power of Ryan Reynolds: the group barely discusses anything about the movie at all in the nearly two-minute preview, and it\u2019s still enough to get you amped to see it.
\nWaititi talks about how great it is to work with the cast for the first time, until Keery and Comer call out that Waititi and Reynolds have actually worked together before. Of course, the truth is out there\u2026 the two both had roles in the infamous Green Lantern movie. And with that, they both quietly exited stage left instead of admitting to their past mistakes.
\nThe chemistry of the cast in the video alone proves that the movie should be an instant hit. And the way Taika Waititi, in particular, appears in this promo, one would think that it\u2019s his next film. That\u2019s not the case, though. The film is being directed by Shawn Levy, director and producer for Netflix\u2019s Stranger Things (already another sign of success).
\nNow, all that\u2019s left is for Fox to release the trailer to the public. New York Comic Con attendees got to see a first glimpse of the movie, which hopefully means the online trailer will drop sooner rather than later.\n<\/div>\n
