\"\"A newly released image for Batman V. Superman: Dawn of Justice showcases Henry Cavill in a dark setting. We were already excited about this movie and can\u2019t wait until it hits theaters. Henry Cavill definitely maintained serious muscle mass to play Krypton\u2019s last survivor for a the 2nd time.<\/p>\n

When asked for any juicy stories on the set, Snyder let reporters know that Henry Cavill is much more comfortable the second time around.\u201cWe\u2019ve both created this guy and we can push him around a little bit. The more time I spend with Henry, the more he\u2019s Superman to me.\u201d There have only been a handful of scenes shot so far where Affleck and Cavill shared the spotlight. With a lot of initial rumors and gossip around the storyline for Dawn of Justice being aligned to Frank Miller\u2018s The Dark Knight Returns, it would be an absolute shock and surprise to us if that winds up being the case.<\/p>\n

With other heroes being cast (Jason Momoa as Aquaman and Gal Gadot as Wonder Woman), there is clearly a much bigger vision leading to the Justice League movie in 2017. Given much of Snyder\u2019s positioning about the film in interviews, it is pretty evident that Affleck will play an older version of Batman. That being said, having an older version of Batman and a movie that include \u201cBatman V. Superman\u201d in the title, it pretty much does sound like The Dark Knight Returns.<\/p>\n

Either way, we\u2019re looking forward to the film and can\u2019t wait to see what comes of the DC Universe on the big screen over the next several years. We\u2019ll be more than happy with either storyline, as long as we get to see the two biggest and most popular super heroes share the screen.\n<\/div>\n
