A teaser trailer showed off a first look at the upcoming sequel.<br \/>\nMiles Morales appeared in developer Insomniac Games\u2019 Spider-Man as a playable character, but it wasn\u2019t until the end of the game when the character \u2014 best known for donning the mantle of Spider-Man in Marvel\u2019s Ultimate universe comics and the animated Spider-Man: Into the Spider-Verse film \u2014 was bit by a radioactive spider, setting up the newly announced sequel.<br \/>\nWhile Sony\u2019s announcement didn\u2019t show off too much of the gameplay for Spider-Man: Miles Morales, the teaser trailer does show off new abilities, like Miles\u2019 electric venom blasts and stealth camouflaging, along with new features, like changing weather and daylight cycles, that didn\u2019t appear in the original game.<br \/>\nThe original Spider-Man on PS4 has been used by Sony in repeated demos to showcase the improvements in load times and level design that are possible with the new, faster SSD on the PlayStation 5.
