Vanity Fair\u2019s Hollywood Issue has landed.
\nBut the issue \u2014 the glossy\u2019s annual pi\u00e8ce de r\u00e9sistance and Oscars opener \u2014 stars Jennifer Lopez and Eddie Murphy, both of whom were somewhat embarrassingly snubbed by Academy Awards voters amid an uproar over lack of diversity.
\nThe pair, who were believed to have shots at Oscar nominations for \u201cHustlers\u201d and \u201cDolemite Is My Name,\u201d respectively, appear in the mag alongside Ren\u00e9e Zellweger, whose turn in \u201cJudy\u201d could get her the Best Actress win.
\nLopez, who will perform at the Super Bowl, told VF she\u2019s working to tell diverse stories and called for more female directors. \u201cIt\u2019s about breaking the mold of what people are used to,\u201d she said.
\nWomen directors were also shut out from the nods.\n<\/div>\n
