Dua Lipa has released a new song, \u201cFuture Nostalgia.\u201d The song, which is the title track from her upcoming sophomore album, is an buoyant, catchy pop number that sees Dua Lipa playing up her strengths.
\n\u201cNo matter what you do I\u2019m gonna get it without ya,\u201d she sings. \u201cI know you ain\u2019t used to a female Alpha.\u201d She adds, \u201cYou can\u2019t get with this if you ain\u2019t built for this\/I can\u2019t build you up if you ain\u2019t tough enough\/ I can\u2019t teach a man how to wear his pants.\u201d
\n\u201c\u2019Future Nostalgia\u2019 is my album title track and is a little something to tie [sic] you over till the New Year,\u201d the singer said in a statement. \u201cI wrote this one with Jeff Bhasker and Coffee one afternoon in L.A. It\u2019s all playful and fun and not taking ourselves too seriously but we loved it so much we wanted to share it with you.\u201d
\nFuture Nostalgia is set to be released in 2020, although a specific release date has yet to be revealed. Dua Lipa dropped the album\u2019s first single \u201cDon\u2019t Start Now,\u201d last month and also announced a 2020 European headlining tour in support of the new music. The tour kicks off in Madrid on April 26th and stops in 19 cities across Europe and the U.K. before ending in Dublin on June 19th.\n<\/div>\n
