\nAnushka Sharma considers style an accessory to life, not the principal driver. A believer in fashion that\u2019s believable (but not basic), Sharma\u2019s is a covetable wardrobe you\u2019d want to replicate. The range of athleisure staples and casual wear that she\u2019s routinely spotted in come from Bodice, Whistles, Joseph, Lovebirds and Maje, and white sneakers are more likely to show up than over-the knee patent leather boots.
\n\u201cSometimes we push ourselves to wear extremely uncomfortable clothes. There are clothes meant for a specific reason\u2014they look beautiful on screen but they\u2019re not the most amazing clothes to wear. In my own space I want to be comfortable in what I\u2019m wearing and, most importantly, it has to reflect me\u2014I find it difficult to just follow trends. If a fanny pack is in fashion but I don\u2019t like how it looks on me I\u2019m not going to wear it,\u201d she says.
\nSharma eschews sentimental attachment with clothes and things (\u201cI think clothes are there for a purpose. I\u2019m an actor and have to be dressed a certain way, but if I wasn\u2019t I think I\u2019d just be in blacks or whites; I wouldn\u2019t care\u201d) and has no qualms about parting with them. \u201cClothes are important to me because, let\u2019s be honest, I have to be presentable, but I do it as much as it makes sense to me. I can\u2019t push myself beyond the realm of losing my sense of self.\u201d\n<\/div>\n
