Elsa, I have a feeling we\u2019re not in Arendelle anymore.<\/p>\nEveryone\u2019s favorite ice queen is braving a new element in the newest teaser trailer for Disney\u2019s \u201cFrozen 2,\u201d which shows Queen Elsa (Idina Menzel) attempting to conquer a massive body of water. The footage didn\u2019t reveal much about the highly anticipated sequel, but it did show Elsa reuniting with some familiar faces, including Princess Anna (Kristen Bell), Olaf (Josh Gad), Kristoff (Jonathan Groff), and his friendly reindeer named Sven.<\/p>\n
Directors Jennifer Lee and Chris Buck returned for the sequel, as did songwriters Kristen Anderson-Lopez and Robert Lopez. Lee also co-wrote the script with \u201cHidden Figures\u201d scribe Allison Schroeder. Evan Rachel Wood and Sterling K. Brown are in talks to join the voice cast.<\/p>\n
Lee previously hinted to Variety that the upcoming animated adventure will still focus on Arendelle royalty Elsa and Anna, but it will be \u201cbigger\u201d and \u201cmore epic\u201d in scale. \u201cThey\u2019re going to go far out of Arendelle,\u201d she said.<\/p>\n
The original \u201cFrozen\u201d movie became a massive hit when it opened in 2013, earning over $1.3 billion at the worldwide box office, along with two Oscars. It\u2019s still the highest-grossing animated film ever, as well as the 13th biggest movie of all time. \u201cFrozen\u201d was adapted as a Broadway musical in 2018, and it was nominated for three Tonys.<\/p>\n
\u201cFrozen 2\u201d arrives just before Thanksgiving, hitting theaters on Nov. 22. Watch the new clip above.<\/p>\n
