\nHollywood, CA \u2013 dick clark productions announced today that the 22nd Annual \u201cHollywood Film Awards,\u201d known as the official launch of the awards season\u00ae, will take place at The Beverly Hilton in Beverly Hills, CA on Sunday, November 4, 2018. The ceremony, which honors the most acclaimed films and actors while previewing highly anticipated films and talent for the upcoming year, also acknowledges artists in the categories of Cinematography, Visual Effects, Film Composing, Costume Design, Editing, Production Design, Sound and Makeup & Hairstyling. Always a draw for the biggest names in the entertainment industry, last year\u2019s ceremony was hosted by James Corden and honored outstanding talent in film including Roger Deakins, Jake Gyllenhaal, Allison Janney, Angelina Jolie, Gary Oldman, Adam Sandler, Taylor Sheridan, Kate Winslet and Joe Wright, just to name a few.<\/p>\n
In its 22-year history, over 320 of the world\u2019s biggest stars and filmmakers have been highlighted at the \u201cHollywood Film Awards\u201d and more than 130 of the honorees have gone on to garner Oscar nominations and\/or wins. Honorees for the 22nd Annual \u201cHollywood Film Awards\u201d will be announced in the coming weeks.<\/p>\n
