A few days after former actress Twinkle Khanna was trolled for complaining about mosquitoes on a flight, the columnist-producer faced flak once again on social media for announcing on Twitter that the naval uniform her husband Akshay Kumar wore in Rustom would be auctioned for charity.<\/p>\n

It was Akshay, who made the initial announcement by sharing, \u201cHi all I\u2019m thrilled to announce that you can bid to win the actual naval officer uniform I wore in Rustom! Auction\u2019s proceeds will support the cause of animal rescue and welfare. Place your bid at http:\/\/www.SaltScout.com !\u201d Twinkle posted the same on her Instagram account and was trolled for \u2018being insensitive\u2019 about the emotions attached to an uniform. Many said that a naval officer\u2019s uniform should not be auctioned because only someone worthy of wearing it should be able to own one. Others also said that it is wrong to auction a naval officer\u2019s uniform because it has a lot of pride attached to it. Many had a problem with the choice of charity being animal welfare as they believed that the bid money should go for other \u201cmore important\u201d causes.<\/p>\n
