Ricky Martin is a married man! The singer revealed on Wednesday, January 10, that he and Jwan Yosef tied the knot.<\/p>\n\u201cI\u2019m a husband, but we\u2019re doing a heavy party in a couple of months, I\u2019ll let you know,\u201d the Assassination of Gianni Versace: American Crime Story star told E! News. \u201cWe exchanged vows, and we\u2019ve swear [sic] everything, and we\u2019ve signed all the papers that we needed to sign, prenups and everything.\u201d<\/p>\n
Martin, 46, and Yosef, 33, started dating in 2016. The \u201cNobody Wants to Be Lonely\u201d crooner announced their engagement on The Ellen DeGeneres Show that November.<\/p>\n
\u201cWell, now he lives with me. He\u2019s a conceptual artist and I\u2019m a collector, so I started looking for art and I saw his art and I went crazy because I really love what he does. Really original. And then I contacted him,\u201d Martin told Ellen DeGeneres at the time, explaining how he and Yosef first met. \u201cI had no idea what he looked like and then I saw what he looked like and I\u2019m like, Yeah. And we just got engaged.\u201d<\/p>\n
He continued, \u201cI proposed. I was really nervous, but I got on my knees and I took out the little metal box \u2014 I just had it in a little velvet pouch \u2014 and instead of saying \u2018Would you marry me?\u2019 I said, \u2018I got you something!\u2019 Bad! And then he was like, \u2018Yes?\u2019 I said, \u2018I want to spend my life with you,\u2019 and he was like, \u2018What is the question?\u2019 \u2018Would you marry me?\u2019 That\u2019s it.\u201d<\/p>\n
The Grammy winner, who is a father to 9-year-old twins Matteo and Valentino, shared a family photo with his kids and Yosef on New Years Day.\n<\/p><\/div>\n
