The Arjun Kapoor-Sonakshi Sinha starrer is the first big release of 2015, reports India Today. Film critic and trade pundit Komal Nahta had tweeted yesterday, ‘Tevar takes a dull start at most of the places. Multiplexes record poor collections.’ As per early indications, the film might have been able to earn somewhere around 6-7 crores on its opening day. The actual figures are yet to pour in, but as per estimates, the film had had quite a slow start, and failed to pick up post noon on January 9. The action thriller received a largely lukewarm to negative response from critics. Apart from Arjun Kapoor and Sonakshi Sinha, the film stars Manoj Bajpayee as well. While the last major release of 2014, PK created a historic success with phenomenal figures at the Box Office, Tevar seems to be struggling to recover just the production costs.
